BounceBack® is a free skill-building program designed to help adults and youth 13+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression, anxiety, stress or worry. Delivered online or over the phone with a coach, you will get access to tools that will support you on your path to mental wellness. Note that a referral from a GP, NP, or psychiatrist is needed to access the phone-based coaching.

The BC Chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association has a few different options of programming, including a parenting program and a resiliency program, that are all free of charge.
The Canadian Psychological Association has created and maintains a list of psychologists in each province who have stated that they are willing to provide psychological services to front line health care providers. "who may be feeling stressed, overwhelmed or distressed by being on the front lines of this health crisis." Services are provided pro bono by psychologists. Nurses have to contact a provider in their own province and identify themselves as a front-line provider wishing to access pro bono services as per the CPA list. Note that providers' availability to provide services may be variable and are not guaranteed.
Kelty's Key provides self-help online therapy modules for anxiety, depression, chronic pain, complicated grief, insomnia, panic attacks, and substance use. It also has a module for those who are supporting a family member with challenges. Note that, although the Kelty's Key webpage references getting an 'online therapist' through the program, in reality only the self-help modules are still available.
The 12 modules can be watched in any order or chronologically, as you wish, and they are as follows: Personal Empowerment, Stress Management, Letting Go, Forgiveness, Nature vs Nurture, Family Relational Harmony, Gratitude, Relationship to Time and Task, Grounding, Wellness, Appreciating Differences, and Being True to Yourself.
Each video is 5 – 15 minutes long.
SafeCare BC is a non-profit association dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of workers in the continuing care sector in British Columbia. With a focus on fostering a safety culture through education, leadership, and collaboration, SafeCare BC has provided its members with cost-effective training, educational services, and industry safety performance information since 2013.
The Walk-In Wellness Service provides brief (up to 30 minutes) mental health appointments provided by student clinicians. This is a brief-intervention service, where clients are permitted to 1-3 sessions per year. The Walk-in Well-Being service provides clients with support, tools, and resources on topics such as depression, anxiety, stress, self-care, substance use, and relationships. Appointments are being offered both virtually and in-person. Operating hours are Tuesdays 10 am – 3 pm (drop-in), and Thursdays by appointment only.
