January 19, 2026

We’re excited to announce a significant upgrade to your NNPBC Mental Health on Demand (MHOD) program by Advica Health. Starting January 1, 2026, the MHOD program added two new and free services – Noojimo Health and Mightier – both of which offer unlimited access for nurses, nurse practitioners and their family members.
Two new and free mental health services for nurses, nurse practitioners and their families
Noojimo Health: Indigenous-led mental health services
Noojimo Health provides culturally safe and timely virtual mental health services, delivered by an Indigenous care provider for Indigenous people.
How to access: Sign into your GreenShield+ account and click the Noojimo tile
The process: Fill out a form, get a confirmation email, and Noojimo's "Office Auntie" will call you to match you with the best professional for your needs
Cost and coverage: Totally free for you, and it doesn't use up your regular MHOD hours!
Mightier: Game-based mental health services for children
Mightier is a fun, game-based mental health program for kids. It helps kids control emotions, build confidence and improve mental health.
How to Access: Families need to sign up with the GreenShield+ care team.
The Program: Kids play biofeedback games to practice calming down. There are also offline and online family activities, plus resources for caregivers.
Cost: Completely free!
Access your Mental Health on Demand services
Last fall, Advica Health launched GreenShield +, which transitioned Mental Health on Demand to a new and improved platform. If you haven’t signed up for GreenShield+ yet, register by January 31st and be entered to win one of two Fitbits.
To access MHOD follow these steps:
- Nurses and nurse practitioners in BC can log in to GreenShield+ or create their account (using “nnpbc” as their organization code).
- Ensure that your spouse/dependents under 25 also create their own accounts to access the services.
- Once you’re in, you can easily access 24/7 support, virtual therapy, iCBT, Noojimo, and Mightier from within the platform.
Please remember: If it's a medical emergency or a member is in crisis, call 911 or 988 or head to the emergency room.MHOD program and its services are not suitable for emergencies.
Please note: The Collaborative Care offering, previously included in the MHOD program, was discontinued as of December 31, 2025. Don't worry, this won't change your access to therapist matching, virtual therapy, or iCBT!
